Communication belongs inside the operation.

Teams shouldn’t have to leave the operational system every time they need context from another person. Phibian brings channels and operational coordination closer to the work itself.

AvailableIn-app channels with managed membership ship today. Outbound SMS delivery is deliberately disabled until per-tenant credential isolation is complete.

The operational problem

Operational context leaks into personal phones.

When the operational system has no place for conversation, the conversation happens somewhere else: a personal text thread, a group chat nobody administers, a call that leaves no trace. The decisions made there are real and consequential, and none of them are attached to the work they concern.

For organizations handling sensitive information, this is also a governance problem. Context about people and places ends up on devices and platforms outside any permission model, retention policy or audit trail the organization actually controls.

How Phibian handles it

Keep teams aligned. Reduce context switching.

Messaging in Phibian shares the same tenant boundary, roles and permissions as the rest of the operation — so a conversation about the work lives in the same system as the work.

Channels with managed membership

Channels are created and administered inside the product, with membership managed by people who are authorised to manage it.

The same permission model

Access follows the organization and role structure already in place, rather than a separate invitation list nobody audits.

Inside the tenant boundary

Messages sit within the same tenant isolation as every other record, not on a third-party platform outside the organization’s control.

Deliberate limits on what is sent

Coordinates, addresses and geofence names are never placed into message or notification text. Sensitive context stays inside the product where access is governed.

Close to the work

Coordination happens where assignments, schedules and field activity already are, so context does not have to be re-established each time.

Not a replacement for your chat platform

Phibian is not positioning itself as a general workplace chat tool. This is operational communication attached to operational work.

In the product

One model, two surfaces.

What the worker records is what the supervisor reviews. There is no second entry, and no reconciliation step between the two.

In Admin

Supervisors coordinate from the same place they review the operation, with channel membership managed under the organization’s roles.

  • Create channels and manage membership
  • Coordinate without leaving the operational context
  • Same tenant boundary and permission model as every record
  • No location detail placed into message text, by design

For the Worker

Workers reach their team from the app they already use for the day, without moving operational context onto a personal channel.

  • Team communication inside the work app
  • Context that follows the assignment
  • No separate account to manage
  • Clear boundaries on what the system sends

How it connects

Nothing here is a standalone product.

The value is not the capability on its own — it is what happens when this record is continuous with the rest of the operation.

01

Workforce defines who is in the room

Membership derives from the same directory, roles and scopes as everything else.

02

Attention drives the conversation

Coordination usually starts from something that needs attention, which is already in the operational queue.

03

Compliance governs the record

Communication sits inside the same tenant boundary and access controls as the operational evidence around it.

04

Notifications remain deliberate

External SMS delivery stays switched off until tenant credential isolation is finished — an intentional constraint, not an oversight.
